I found this thread, but I thought you had other pics. I'm really liking this mod for a black car.

http://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/68499.phtml</a

It really finishes of an otherwise kinda cheap looking plastic piece that I feel is below the standard of what should be on this car. Alternatively, you could just finish it in phantom black. Either way, be sure to put a piece of clear bra on the front. It'll take a beating given its location.

The actual color code is 7277 Matte Nickel. The color match isn't 100% but it is DAMN close.
Steps are....wash and prep with steel wool soap pad to get all oils out of the plastic and provide a finely abrasive surface for paint to adhere. Allow to fully dry.
apply two coats of Bulldog Adhesion promoter followed by 3-4 coats of primer. Allow to dry overnight. Sand with 400 grit paper, then wet sand with 600 grit paper. allow to fully dry.
Apply 4-5 coats of the paint followed by 3-4 coats of clearcoat lacquer. after a few days, put a 1" strip of clear bra over the front edge of the piece.
Between all coatings, wait about 5-7 minutes.
Final step....bake in oven for about 8 minutes at around 175 degrees to fully cure the paint. Watch carefully for bubbling.
Have fun!
