...sedan... Yeah...I know...I would never really want an M3 sedan...or would I...black/black... I'm just a JUNKIE. Alright, I'm more than just a junkie...I just love cars.
I have a deposit on an Evo X MR, and I had ordered the Sti...I love all wheel drive turbo cars. I had written off the Subaru due to the splotchy reviews...but then I started seeing what these guys were doing to their new one...scroll down the page...

I looked at the non MR X in Florida when I was down there...it didn't really do anything for me...but, it sounds like the S-AWC is fantastic. Supposedly the MR won't be able to handle more than 80bhp over stock, due to the transmission's tendency to overheat. I wouldn't want the car with a 5-speed. I imagine that after a while they might come out with a 6-speed manual for the US market?
No, I don't want an M3...but a 135 with the retro hydraulic steering! (I'm still looking into converting my TT steering back to an older style system...more feel)
If I didn't have the RS4, I probably would be running to check out the black/black M3 sedan I was just offered.

http://www.harmanmotive.com/catalog/index.php</a

and I think you'd enjoy that car much more than the M3, simply for the tuning potential. I was just reading a catalog that had a plug-n-play piggyback ecu for the 135 that gives it 80hp/40ft-lbs...for $600!

would need better seats, in Japan you can spec out nicer Recaro's... better leather on the steering wheel (pet peeve...gotta do it)...coilovers/sways/etc...red or grey tint film on the rear lights...wheels...maybe some extra leather somewhere on the dash, doors...

I'm surprised you haven't mentioned the GT-R...that seems like it would be up your alley.

when there's a limited supply. I have relationships with many dealers, but not Nissan ones.
I've also never even driven a dual clutch 'box,' I don't know if I'd like it.
Might be hard to get parts for the motor, seeing that it's 1 of 4, LOL.

having said that, supposedly they have a dedicated person (usually the sales manager) at each dealership who handles all GT-R sales. obviously they'll have to change their tune if they're going to sell a $70k car with potentially massive mark-up.
what will be interesting is to see what other models (if any) will get that motor, or a detuned version of it. maybe we'll see an AWD Maxima GT-R or something...

But, as far as cars 'sucking,' the Mercury Mistress is more your cup of tea.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5sOCEUpGZI</a

And what exactly do you mean about the seats? I sat in the STi at NAIAS and I thought it was fantastic - are you saying more luxurious? or more supportive?

ICISATI

Currently some are making 100whp gains with simple bolt on's and without a tune. It has great potential... but will the alum block in the X be able to handle the same as the previous... some think not.

I want to get fitted for a car dammit!
srsly though, it's utterly absurd - i would only keep a fraction of that and try my hardest to obtain a past Formula 1 car....and move to somewhere I can take it to the track year-round.

Like an Audi A3 but then the rest goes down the tube. From the A pillar back the car looks like a M Coupe from the year 2000 and I never really iked that Bimmer.
It's an A3/M Coupe hybrid!

the owner of Go-Tuning assured me that they had no problems fitting people in them...
There's no way I can sit in that thing!
Now they want a 25% restocking fee, to take it back. My bad, I really should have assumed that there was no way it would fit me, Japan home market product and all...

at that point, there has to be some diminishing of the enjoyment of getting a new car. plus you could never drive all of them enough to really enjoy them. i dunno...maybe i'm wrong.

as you said, it eventually starts not being as exciting to get a new car....but also to see how much redundancy there is...
I can't IMAGINE him having any part in the restorations other than just handing the money over.

Original Thread
