The rubbing is just the tire touching the wheel well liner. ferchizzle 08-08-2007, 11:17 AM thanks for the insight? And I know a few peeps who use them essentially as shuttle cars for in town driving and have cars more like ours for fun driving. My suspicion is that many who buy them don't understand their profile, including safety features and long term costs. Still think the short to mid-term answer is turbo-diesels, and hope that Audi really does put a HP TD on our streets within 3-5 years, as Johan has represented they will. ELEVENS 08-08-2007, 06:43 PM Do it right and get correct fitting wheels. Only as a last resort if you MUST do spacers, make sure they're hub-centric and use the correct length wheel bolts - I think it's a minimum of 6 turns, but not too long either. absoluteis 08-09-2007, 08:08 AM mczars4 08-09-2007, 09:28 AM no noticeable difference to me.
