And that has quite a bit of seat time in it.

There are also some products on the market that aid in the cleaning of oils and moisture released from the palms. Scotch/3M has a great one available. Also, many BMW owners use the flat side of razor, which seems to revitalize the texture of the suede.

Suede steering wheels are the material of choice for Audi Sport DE and their winning DTM cars. I'm sure these go through quite a bit of abuse too.

The issue is without the stock wheel I only have two choices to control the phone:

1) Use the RNS-E
2) Use the phone

Since I basically have my speed dials memorized it's easy for me to use the phone and I need it within hands reach.

I was going to go with the Audi cradle, but it gets in the way of passengers leg room.
