picking-up a silver/silver RS4 fitted with dedciated 18" winter wheels/Dunlop tires, splash gaurds and stone guard. The high performance OEM tires and wheeels go back on come spring. Did I mention fresh V1 and floormats, too?

they do not give total protection. I would recommend putting a piece of ClearBra or similar in the small rocker panel corner just in front of the rear wheels. It seems that this panel gets especially stone chipped. Same panel and same problem occurred with my previous A6.

Kicking the collected snow and ice off the guards is IMHO much better than seeing what the side of your car looks like without them.
