where did this 6/15 release date come from? Based on pics posted on AW over the years, cars at the port are basically sitting outside in a huge parking lot (i.e. uncovered). Being in Houston this time of year, there is certainly a risk of severe weather/hail. To me, it wouldn't make sense to have the RS4s sit there longer than absolutely necessary. 3 weeks seems crazy.

I can't remember if it was the first batch of B5 S4's in 1999, or the first B6's in 2003, but they've let cars sit at the docks for as long as 5 or 6 weeks before releasing them. If history means anything, you'll be lucky if it's *only* 3 weeks.

Maybe not quite 3 weeks, but for a little while it looks like.

Just sat in the parking lot for all of July and August in the sun. The dealership ended up replacing one rotor prior to delivery due to excessive rust. Found out years later (had upgraded brakes, then noticed upon putting stock back on) that they replaced it with the wrong/size rotor too!
