View Full Version : Europe Delivery! Evil Buddha 05-22-2006, 07:51 PM I spoke to the Audi rep last week and he said they will have a Europe delivery program by Feb 2007! I don't think I can wait. I need a RS4 Cab Tip in Sprint Blue NOW!!!! 123Thumperer® 05-22-2006, 08:24 PM ...be surprising. how does BMW handle this? John Stedman 05-22-2006, 10:32 PM I need one too, but doubt this is possible unless they federalise. Keep us posted Der Kimbo 05-23-2006, 06:39 AM Pick up the car (US Spec - no clue why RS4 Cab came up) in Ingolstadt, drive it around and then shipped back. Evil Buddha 05-23-2006, 07:41 AM Yes I want a cab with a tip, but I didn't say that is what I will be able to ship back. But by then who knows, Audi may change the plan for the 2008 shipped in 2007. If the RS4 sells well in 2006 they will have to consider the market share they are loosing to BMW M3 Cab w SMG. I thought you guys might like the $savings that is offered. It can cover the cost of a one or two week trip for two to Europe. You may get a tour of the plant, driving lessons on a track by a pro in your model car and a walk through your car by a tec, not a salesman. You tour Europe in your new car and they pay to ship your car home. Check out the BMW ED program on their site it is what Audi is gunning for. They do 7% off a BMW, that same amount off MSRP on a RS4 would pay for a nice trip. NICE! Bob W. 05-23-2006, 08:56 AM 123Thumperer® 05-24-2006, 10:13 AM ...the seat and steering wheel stuff would almost be a non-issue. Alan Smithee 05-24-2006, 03:32 PM ...delivered in Europe, and Porsche charges a large premium for European Delivery. Hopefully Audi models their program after MB; they recently added AMG models (and discount them). So don't count on any discounts for the RS4...perhaps even a premium to pick it up at the factory if they make it available. Evil Buddha 05-24-2006, 04:27 PM That's strange because my dealer is saying yes to ED discount. I am considering the M3 Cab SMG and my dealer is telling me 7% off of MSRP for ED. That is without any negotiations. I can do better if I shop some of the dealers on the Gulf Coast but I want to wait for the Audi ED RS4 plan before I decide. Alan Smithee 05-24-2006, 05:06 PM Don't make a decision based on what they tell you unless you confirm it elsewhere. The E46 M3 has never been 'officially' available through European Delivery, but you can take advantage of the program without the discount (I did this five years ago). But don't take my word for it...

BMW European Delivery Program

b-thumper 05-24-2006, 05:22 PM Evil Buddha 05-24-2006, 05:53 PM I will call the sales MGR and check that out. He said he had a few M3 ED. Who Knows, I will be pissed if he is talking ****. Alan Smithee 05-24-2006, 06:17 PM ...historically it's been the last bodystyle of the 3-series to be replaced. Evil Buddha 05-25-2006, 06:21 PM That is right, No % off M3 with ED. |
