things of that nature. The CSL was offered overseas as kind of a track specialty car. No a/c and maybe even no backseat? Can't remember offhand. The CS was kind of in between the regular m3 and the CSL, it had similar wheels and same brakes and I believe the gear ratios on both were different from reg m3 but don't quote me. The CS was offered here in the states under the "Competition Package" name. I don't believe it was called a CS here.Interestingly, the CSL came out before the CS over there and the CS was priced considerably lower than the CSL which reportedly pissed off some CSL owners as the CS was only something like 4000 British pounds over the regular M3. Think that was BMW's plan all along? :P

I also want to see the best Audi against the best Bimmer if you know what I mean.

i.e., M3 CS = M3 with the competition package. The M3 CSL was never sold in the USA.
