From what I've heard, there is some type of display that lets you know the revs are limited until the engine is at operating temp. I think it's in the center display, but I can't lay my hands on any pics. The owner of Milltek told me about this in his RS 4. Very BMW M3 of Audi I would say. I think even 7k is silly high though. I wouldn't exceed 4k until the oil is above 150*F
