I was at the 'SOT' in San Francisco today. I talked to several of the Audi reps and asked why the RS4 drives were cancelled. I was told that it was because there were problems in San Diego. When asked if they could be more specific, I was told that one person drove the car 145 mph with an Audi employee sitting shotgun and posted about it on the internet. The post was seen and the drives were cancelled. Just further confirmation of what we already knew.

Yep, that's what we thought. I can't believe the Audi guy allowed it though. He should've known better than to let people go bonzai with the car on a public road.
I was just looking at a thread over on the A3 board for the event held in Mountainview, CA. Looks like they had it on an open parking lot with cones, etc. They still weren't allowed to drive, just a lap with pro driver.
