My car "caught up" with all the other launch cars according to the dealer. Well...it caught up in their system. That means arrival at Port in the USA by 5/22/06. Don't be surprised if they try and get some of us to close deals for May sales. Here we come! -Pete

the "launch date" whatever that means. He didnt even give me any specifics. Im getting kinda fustrated that I am paying 80k for a car and cant even find out where it is or what stage of production its in.

they disconnected the odometer, so it will be just like new when you get it.

On the same day they announced the 'repeal' of the 'all launch vehicles will be the same except for paint' policy, my contact speculated August as actual arrival. He suggests that the Q7 rollout will be followed by the similtaneous release of the first RS4's. He said this AFTER we looked at RS4's already in the pipeline. After a B5 and my current B6 (and GREAT satisfaction/service with both), and all of the launch delays and rumors, I have decided to wait for next year to test satisfaction and reliability. I also want to see a US spec road test, and an actual weight, as 66 large is a big base in my world.
