I just traded in a '04 Lexus RX330 for a 2008 Audi TT, so I am new to the forums. I decided on the TT after having test driven a Nissan Z and Lexus SC.
The Z looked and felt cheap, the Lexus was almost $20k more. The TT was a perfect mix of fun to drive and the luxury features I loved about my RX.
The car is amazingly fun to drive. I am really digging the car... We have an office pool going on when I will get my first speeding ticket. I keep surprising myself looking down at the speed and realizing I am cursing at 85 down the freeway.
Question for the people who got Sirius radio with your new cars. Was the radio already activated for you? Or did you have to activate it? My dealership said I would get 3 months free but I only seem to be able to tune ~12 stations. I must be doing something wrong.
I must say that I am pretty disappointed in the iPod controls. The mp3 meta data is not displayed on either of the screens at all. In fact the interface treats play lists on the iPod as CDs 1-5 and each of the songs are Tracks. So when I insert my iPod the first 5 play lists (I am not sure what happens if you have more than 5 play lists) are available as CD 1 though CD 5. Each song on the "CDs" are listed as Track 1- Tack 99. Apparently 99 is the limit on the display as it starts counting over again after that.
This is a horrible interface for an iPod. Considering I have roughly 60 gigs of music (well over 30,000 individual songs) and audio books loaded on mine, it is barely usable.
When we were demoing the feature at the dealership, I wanted to see the iPod doc in action. The sales guy put my iPod in and played a song. He explained to me at the time that it would take a while for the meta data to be displayed on the screen. I think he was confused with the bluetooth phonebook downloading to the system..
So, all in all I am very happy with my new car. The iPod thing is somewhat of a bummer though. I would recommend you pass on it if you are having to pay for the upgrade it is not worth it.

Few more pics here...
