I've increasingly noticed this annoying rattle coming from the hatch of my 2.0 TT coupe (about 2 months old now). I thought it was cargo at one point, but now I'm thinking it may actually be the glass in the hatch. It's particuarly annoying when I'm riding over rough road. Anyone else notice this or have any ideas about how I can dampen the noise?

thought they had this fixed on the Mk2. As a test might want to try removing it and going for a drive. If noise is gone, found the culprit. I think if you put a little grease on the mounting points, it should quiet it down. Good luck!

I'm afraid it's not the parcel shelf. I'm pretty sure it's the glass in the hatch but it's hard to check when I'm driving. I'll have to get someone else to drive so that I can check it.

were the culprits on the MK1. When I test drove the MK2, I thought they that finally redesigned and fixed it. Maybe not ...
