it would be the same as in my B7.
My current ride 06 A4, has the Nav +, non-bose syatem and it's pretty good. Is the TT's system (Nav+, non-bose) the same or similar? Does it have a factory sub like in the A4?
Can someone please let me know how many speakers are in this car? As i said before, i totally forgot to look into this.
take the non-bose over the bose.

I believe the standard HU on the A4 is capable of playing MP3 CD's and displaying the song names, whereas you loose this functionality with the NAV+.
I am not sure about this, but, if it's true, you might be on the same boat with the NAV+ on the TT.
If this matters to you, do a little research. Don't forget to come back and report your findings.
I just load up my SD Cards and use them instead. The CD changer that came with it just sits there and has never been used. The Nav+ is a very good investment, IMO.

Smart move.
The way I worded this is technically not true, but it's true. I can't believe you need to remove the DVD in order to have the HU show you the names of the songs that come in your SD cards. How are those related to the DVD, especially when you're not using it?

He said, and I quote "I just load up my SD Cards and use them instead. The CD changer that came with it just sits there and has never been used."
That means he uses the SD cards for the MP3, doesn't it? And he also says he's not using the CD changer at all.

so not sure exactly. At any rate, seems confusing.

The best route is to get a pair of SD cards and place the MP3's on them. They are selectable from the menu, and they display the album, track, artist info.
My iTunes library is all AAC, so I downloaded a program called "synctunes" for my Mac. You insert your SD card into a reader, pick the playlist you want to sync from iTunes, set a few prefs such as on-the-fly conversion to MP3, and auto creation of the MP3 (m3U) playlist, and it will fill the SD card. Remove the SD card, insert into the NAV SD slot... enjoy your music.
