Just got the following e-mail from my dealer... "Car looks SICK! We just unwrapped it."
My S-line showed up on a truck. They'll PDI it tomorrow, and I'll pick it up later in the day. Hopefully, I'll be getting the GIAC flash at the same time.

Some quick stuff before I go off and read the manual... ;)
Ok, first of all, there is _NO_ contrast stitching. The stitching thread is the exact same color as the seats. It still looks awesome, and in retrospect, will probably be easier to maintain since I don't need to worry about the thread discoloring.
The S-Line looked F'ing hot. With a standard TT next to mine, it was unbelievable how different the cars looked. The 19" S-Line wheels really fill-out the openings, and the revised bumpers make a big difference. I'll probably install the euro 20mm lower springs for the MR as it could stand just a small drop.
DSG tranny is way too much fun. To be free of that clutch was the best feeling in the world. I set the NAV to take me via a mix of surface and Fwy just so I could play with it.
I got the bi-xenon with adaptive headlights. When they come on, they self-adjust. First pointing to the ground, then cross-eyed, then back to normal. I figured the Cylon noise from Battlestar Galactica was next!
Dealer experience was also fantastic. I purchased from Nate at Penske Audi West Covina (So Cal) This is a new dealership, with young management, and everyone is a Audi fanatic. This is my third Audi (and 3rd dealer), and this was the first time I actually felt happy and satisfied as I left. Nate spent probably 45 minutes going over all functions of the car, we paired my iPhone, and I learned a few tricks. If you need an Audi, and West Covina is near, I encourage everyone to go see them.
Ok, I've got to go look at her again before my wife gets home and wants some attention!

that Audi mentioned in their last press release? Is it different in any way?
I believe that you car is not contrast stitching, but why is 2953 stating it is contrast and the one on Fourtitude is contrast? I'm confused... as usual.

I went back a looked at the fourtitude pictures and the stitch-thread only looks contrast with what appears to be flash or a slow shutter speed. Mine is dark thread so we'll see how it looks when photographed.
Without another base TT to compare with, it would know if the stitching is different.
Perhaps after the first run with dark stitching, AoA has moved to contrast and thus why the press release states "special"?
Ok, I'm off to take some pictures.

The first image gives the impression that the stitching is contrast but in reality it it not. You'll see in the second photo where the stitching looks back.
Anyway, here are a few pics. I've got to go to work so I'll take more later.
I have my S-Line stitching is black? Got it on Friday.

http://2008_tt_s-line_004.jpg</a

Doesn't look like there is anything special about it after all.
