new residuals (54% + 3% in 10k per year lease)? Just wanna confirm this before I present my dealer with the info.

See the link below....

I can confirm these as July residuals as they dropped 2 % from June but so did money factors...they do match up to the June residuals (less 2%) that the finance manager gave to both Zerin and I at the dealer.

Click the link, find your car set up... engine, coupe or Roadster and then term.. etc...and see what the Residual and MF is.

Also note that all leases/PP comes with 15K standard a year...if you go to 12K you get 2% more Res. If you do 10K you get 3% more res.
Finally, make sure you add Audi care, as you then get another 1% on residual also....

Essentially find your numbers and add 4% (3% for 10K and 1% for Audi Care)

FInally, Premiere Purchase carries the same residuals that leasing does, the intrest rate is just slightly higher...like .5% or so...

Click

Checking Audiusa.com, Audi Care covers the scheduled 15k, 25k, 35k, and 45k or 5 years.

Is there no scheduled maintanence other that at these intervals?

Edmunds.com has scheduled maintanence for the TT every 2,500 miles. Is that correct? It seems like a lot.

Can someone check the manual and provide the service intervals for the first 60k?

Everytime I mention these numbers to a sales person (not only Audi), they ask if I work for another dealership and claim there is no way to get those numbers.

By the way, the numbers in that AW thread you posted came copy&paste style from RoadFly forums, which, in turn, are posted by Tarry from LeaseCompare.com. That is probably the only online source that exists for captive lease programs.

Definitely not common knowledge.

called my dealer and told him
"here are the new residuals I was given by a friend. Look them up & get back to me so we wont have to waste any time tonight when i come in"

He confirmed it very shortly afterwards. looking forward to making an offer tonight.

As long as you don't know what Audi FS is offering, the dealer's finance guy is free to charge you as much as he wants. That's why it is important to know what the numbers are, and what your credit rating/FICO score is. Finance is the 2nd profit center at the dealership after all.

When I leased my 2nd Audi in 2002, I came with the Audi lease information in hand, and the lease kit from leaseguide.com. The finance guy tried to add significantly to the money factor, but once I showed him the lease numbers print-out, and that I knew my FICO was north of 780, things got mostly back in-line. Again, he was surprised that I had the numbers.

That said, he still tried to add in an additional 1/4 point when printing out the sales contract, but I caught it when I reversed out all his numbers. With his pants down, we finally got on the same page.

If you're going to lease, and you're not sure how it all works, go to leaseguide.com and get educated. You can even purchase the lease kit so that you have worksheets you can take with you to the dealer to help untangle the numbers and/or make sure nothing is being inserted that shouldn't be.

Lease Guide
