View Full Version : Funny that the first TT Coupe I would see on the road would be in Bangkok, Thailand!

I have yet to see a coupe on the road in the Portland, OR area... I have seen a black roadster, but no coupes. Sure I've seen plenty at the dealers... I'm currently over in Asia for work and I saw a Silver 3.2 Coupe on the freeway here. The new TT has amazing road presence If anyone has been to Thailand, you should know how rare the TT let alone any Audi's are here! I'm in Toyota hell! LOL.

I have yet to see a SINGLE MK2 TT on the road anywhere. Not a single one in the last month...part of this I like...part of me wishes it sold a bit better. Its a phenominal car, but its a nitche and Audi didnt push it like they did a Q7 or A4....those switch gears adds lasted about as long as the STronic shift times on TV .2 seconds.

The only time I remember legitimatly seeing TT adds was during LeMans coverage on Speed.

Right now....people dont know about the TT. And if they do, they just think its the same as the MK1 with a diffrent skin. Even the enthusiest market (speaking for my self) is just growing increasingly aware....I wouldnt have thought about it until I realized that an S5 would be 56K+ Base..so I thought about a two seat sports car and then the TT dawned on me...went to the dealer and drove it....the rest is history....

...anyway I say all that to say..there are not many out there...(I am not sure if thats why residulas dropped a few points this month, granted they where off set by better money factors...)

We drove up to Durango all the time! I love it out there! We have to hook up when I get my car... I want to see our cars side by side!
