So who has one on order... what week are you? Mine is scheduled for week 25 (next week)... I'm resisting the urge to call my dealer each day to check the status!

I had a red S-line 2.0 coupe on order with delivery scheduled for 8/13 . . .

Noticed a few days ago on the forum that AFS was running a June special on 2.0 coupe money factors (.00145 vs. .0019 when I ordered mine) and they actually had a silver 2.0 coupe in stock at my dealer with all of the options I wanted so I took delivery and have been enjoying it for a few days now.

It basically came down to the residual issue--as has been mentioned, the S-line lowers it by 2 points. The way I came to see it, Audi is basically charging you TWICE for the darn S-line option--something that REALLY pissed me off.

When paired with the lower money factor and 2 pt residual difference, I could not justify the ~$100/month for the S-line. It looks great, and I love the wheels, but $3600 over 3 years is a lot to pay for the aesthetics. Different story if you are buying, of course.

So . . . I hope you all love your pending S-lines, I know they will be sweet and if you are considering leasing a 2.0 coupe you should look into it soon. That lower money factor is pretty appealling--implicit APR is only 3.5%, which inflation adjusted more or less equates to free money.

Oh, and yes, the upgraded stereo is ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL. If you are buying, do not waste your $$!

...counting the days... luckily I'm on Holiday for a couple weeks between now and arrival.

I'm swamped with work stuff... getting ready for a development trip again to Singapore, Thailand and China... at least it makes me focus on something else than dwelling on the long wait. Today is the 60 day mark for delivery!
