View Full Version : Audi resale value in the US? newlu 02-28-2007, 02:31 AM i've never owned an audi before and am thinking about getting the new TT and i wonder how the resale value of audi is in the US market thanks Quattrings 02-28-2007, 07:20 AM Maybe you can sell it in England when it comes time to change. Actually the MK2 will more than likely be better, but if you want resale values that are consistent with BMW, you'll want to stay away from the 'standard models' and wait for an 'S' or even better, an 'RS' model to appear. RS models are generally better than BMW/Mercedes. 2007 RS4 used is still selling for the prices of a new car. RS6 sells for more than the comparable AMG Mercedes. |everso!| 02-28-2007, 12:15 PM of all cars sold in the US back in 2003 and 2004. when i was leasing my TT back then (which i eventually purchased) the 3 year depreciation value was 2nd only to the Mini Cooper. and i think value of the TT is still strong, considering how much other cars of similiar price range cost after 5, 6, or 7 years. Quattrings 03-01-2007, 12:44 AM I remember hearing that TT resale was very good from some of the UK Magazine Reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't have that experience on the used car market when it came time to sell my 2001 225TT in mid-2004. The Audi dealer wouldn't give me anything for it, so I went Private Party. Luckily I was able to get a few thousand over the average prices that others were getting because of my upgrades, but it still was a big hit. Recently I have been looking at 2001 TTs and S4s on Autotrader for a second car and the S4s still had the edge. Might be my region of the country. |
