View Full Version : FYI- You can now configure mk2 TT coupes and roadsters on audiusa.com BOS/NYCAudi 02-22-2007, 09:41 AM KSpider 02-22-2007, 10:51 AM Make a completely loaded 2007 G35 sedan look econ priced no cell 02-22-2007, 11:13 AM Astronut 02-22-2007, 11:26 AM Black, Red, White, 2 shades of silver and 1 Blue, kinda lame IMO oh and if you configure the iPod interface it makes you take the Nav system as well darTTh audi 02-22-2007, 11:47 AM

SilvrBulleTT 02-22-2007, 11:58 AM Rawhide Rosenwad 02-22-2007, 12:13 PM with the "6-gang." (If one ever gets here) It's bound to be a better car (to my mind) than the 3.2QC. AudiAddict B7 02-22-2007, 12:31 PM Alcantara stock is nice though, So a 3.2 with Nav&Bluetooth = 45K hmmmm. I wonder where the A5 pricing is going to fit in. KSpider 02-22-2007, 01:01 PM 300+ horsepower plus many more amenities for under 40K loaded KSpider 02-22-2007, 01:01 PM TT31 02-22-2007, 01:21 PM The gist of many of the TT reviews is that there is the quintessential MK2 somewhere between the 2.0T FWD and the 3.2Q. And that would be the 2.0TQ. Dougiebaby2 02-22-2007, 02:36 PM Probably just a programming error in the online configurer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqxurQsDN5Y</a

chewym 02-22-2007, 02:40 PM Plenty of options available on the 2.0T with the Premium package. Actually all of the options are available on the 2.0T with the Premium package. AudiAddict B7 02-22-2007, 02:52 PM Kozmo 02-22-2007, 02:57 PM Astronut 02-22-2007, 05:18 PM to have it as a separate option if it then requires the Nav, but hey, it is Audi & stranger things have happened. 2.0T Premium Coupe BB w/ 18 high perf, Nav, magnetic ride, audio, & bi-xenons is $42,900. +5K for the same 3.2 + Bluetooth christian33 02-22-2007, 06:08 PM Thanks for letting us know! S4 111 02-22-2007, 07:15 PM I would get a six speed in the base model, but the larger engined model is getting to expensive for me. I hope audi brings out a six speed for the base model...it would increase sales for sure. I may have to look elsewhere at 46000 . m1234 02-22-2007, 09:39 PM still most buy the german cars if they can. BiscottiGelato 02-22-2007, 10:39 PM So basically the 2.0T is worse than an A3. Cuz I can't even add adaptive bi-xenon nor AMR to the barebone TT. On the A3 I can add bi-Xenon or AMR without getting premium.... So basically to add the BiXenon and AMR i have to pay double the value of these things individually. Can anyone tell me what does the Bi-Xenon & AMR need from the premium to function? US spec TT is plain disappointing. 6 colors only, no 10 spoke wheel for the 2.0T, must have premium package to get multi-function steering wheel, bi-xenon and adaptive magnetic ride. There's no heart at all on the TT offering for North America. Disappointing. TTCat 02-23-2007, 09:39 AM I have never been able to get real excited about the new mk2 anyway, but the coin required is getting into territory where better choices abound. I guess I just wasn't paying attention to the potential sticker price, but holy cow! I only got the 180 coupe in 02, but its quattro and a stick, with the premium package and audio package, which had xenons, heated seats, homelink etc - whole thing out the door was 34k. You can't even get a stick or quattro without going 3.2, and at a comparable level of equipment, I'd be looking at over 45k at a minimum. Not a chance. Rawhide Rosenwad 02-23-2007, 09:49 AM SoSuMi 02-24-2007, 11:22 AM ...due to the use of aluminum and steel in the body. But you are correct. Getting a manual tranmission is Nacho Mucho Grande Mula, or whatever. While the TT is the cutiest thang I done seen, I think I'd rather be in an ugly, ass-kickin' 335i. blueprinTT 02-25-2007, 08:21 AM ...It would have been a great platform to mod upon. I blame lazy American's love for auto trannys...or at least Audi's perception that is the case. Maybe they'll surprise us and offer a turbo 3.2 or 3.6 RS-TT soon. UTmatt 02-26-2007, 08:27 AM Much better value than a Cayman. newlu 02-27-2007, 02:15 AM come on compare japanese cars with european cars is like comparing apples and oranges and i sure as hell like the orange a whole lot better. my friend used to own a 05' g35 sedan, and his sister now owns an audi a3 even he told me that the audi had much better interior quality european car > japanese cars 'nuff said SilvrBulleTT 02-27-2007, 10:02 AM someone who wants a TT most likely wouldn't cross-shop a Japanese 4-door sedan. that's all i'm saying. maybe the G35 coupe though. |
