or is just too small to fit four adults in the car? I live with my girlfriend and we don't have kids. The only time I'll need to fit more than the two of us is when friends or family come to visit, which would be like 5 times a year. I don't want to piss off my parents by trying to stash them somewhere that they don't fit, but if it usable for such occasions then I may get the TT.

Any Mk1 TT owners have experience with this? BTW, my parents are short (5'6")

(mkI), I turned claustrofobic by the end of the first street. There's barely enough room to fit a child. You have to squeeze in your feet and you can absolutely forget about headspace.

I didn't have the guts to sit in the back of an mkII yet. It seemed just as tiny. Wonderful looking car though, I like it much more than the previous model. Amazing presence.

no seriously. I can't really put a number on that. My dealer put it this way: people without legs and no head will be just fine in the backseat of a TT. I would just look upon it as being nearby storage space or for putting your dog. I think children up to a certain age may fit, but I don't know what age that would be.

You're fooling yourself if you try. . . I got away with this for my little kids, but my son is now 6, and he really does not like being back there at all now!

...and from the scratches they made on the rear quarter trim getting in the back - last time she EVER drove it.
