it looks more cumbersome than the standard SD card slots. So, again, I would skip the $300+ iPod integration kit and put that cash towards another option (i.e. Nav).<ul><li><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqxurQsDN5Y">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqxurQsDN5Y</a</li></ul>

The description of the iPod preparation on audiusa.com mentions the navigation system but does not suggest any additional functionality. It adds: "The iPod preparation is unable to process information stored on the iPod for the artist, track, album and genre."
Seems like playlists are as good as it gets...
[Full description from audiusa.com]
"Control the iPod like a CD changerThe iPod preparation is connected up via the CD changer controls and is therefore identified by the radio or navigation system as a CD changer. iPod tracks are consequently controlled in the same way as operating a CD changer, via the buttons on the radio or navigation system plus with MMI operating logic. It is not possible to operate a CD changer and iPod adapter simultaneously, because they both use the same connection on the radio.
Existing playlists on the iPod are identified as CDs and displayed as CD1-CD5 in the changer controls. All tracks stored on the iPod are identified as CD6. The iPod preparation is unable to process information stored on the iPod for the artist, track, album and genre.
The current playlist, the track currently playing and the playing time of the track appear in the display of the radio or navigation system plus with MMI operating logic.
Supported players
All iPods with dock connector, a 30-pin flat plug, can be connected up to the adapter of the iPod preparation. iPod models without a dock connector, e.g. exclusively with a USB or Firewire connection, cannot be connected."<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/experience/technology/ipod_preparation.html">http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/experience/technology/ipod_preparation.html</a</li></ul>

It was a joke... I was only laughing at the way the guy was explaining the entire process... I made no
insults and if you didn't notice... I added LOL, which normally means it's all in good fun..
I'm not sure he really knew how to use the system himself and that's what was funny. I don't give a **** if the guy is black, red or white or if he has an accent.
Douchebag? extremely childish...
I'm not sure we need your kind of humor on this forum?

From the link:
"It is not possible to operate a CD changer and iPod adapter simultaneously, because they both use the same connection on the radio. "
But if you DON'T get the navi system, the standard six-disc CD changer can still be combined with an iPod connector. Does plugging in an iPod just disable the changer until you unplug the iPod? Or something else?
unlike others on this forum, I never made any rude, insulting or racist comments. Did anyone not notice that the guy was not so sure about how the integration actually worked and for one last time... that was the funny part...
I honestly don't have to explain myself and I have no time for this kind of stuff.
I find this comment rather insulting;
"obviously English is not his first language"
Nobody said anything about that.

...and your feelings are not conveyed when someone reads your original post. In my opinion and apparently others, the LOL came across as childish, i.e. teasing or poking fun at the person who made the video. Excuse us if we got it wrong though.
/\/\/\ That was my PC reply, this is my BS reply...
Come on man, stop kidding your self. Do I need to quote everything you said thus far about this guy??? It is clear that your tone is childish in someway shape or form that is directed to the way he is acting or talking in the video that he made. I can see if you made your first comment and left it alone but you kept on going. That's why someone replied to your second comment and THAT'S why I'm doing the same.
P.S. & Don't try to make someone else's actions (myself AND the person who commented on your posts) look any worse than your own...i.e. dropping the childish name because with all that you have said thus far on this one guy who made the video you should have came out and said douchbag in your first post.
