2007 will be the year of the coupe which will introduce the three Coupe models, TT, R8, and A5. The A5 will have the V8 FSI as a base (in the U.S.) and a V10 arriving also.

Germany will get a much wider range of engines than us. The introduction will take place in March at Geneva with the roll-out soon there-after.

even the R8 won't be hitting dealers until September and that was unveiled last year.

It seems that they are really making some decisive movements to get things rolling in the U.S. There was an article recently that described in-depth Audi's marketing plan for 2007 and 2008 - very interesting read.

Was surprised when viewing the MK2 TT for the first time in person (Early Aug '06) and they mentioned to us that the A5 would have the V8 FSI as a base engine. It really shows that it have an emphasis on performance compared to the other more mainstream models.

R8-V10, RS6 and A5. They're certainly on the offensive now.

This next 30 days is going to be rough - lol I don't think I recall ever anticipating an auto show like this coming up next month in Geneva. I find that R8 so desirable that I'm wondering what areas in my life can be 'tweaked' so that I can have one parked in my driveway, then I wake up. In the end, it will probably be an A5 or higher output TT.

The A5 is on the new platform. Audi can turn out vehicles quicker. The A4 will be shown in Frankfurt.

I like that Audi will have a real marketing campaign with the new TT.

I agree that a V10 R8 won't make that much sense as the V8 isn't even on sale yet.

RS6 and A5 already make for an amazing Auto Show for Audi.
