Hi folks -- I'm new to this forum. I have a 2004 A4 1.8T that I did stage I APR engine re-programming on. Good results, but limited partly because that car is an automatic.
I've been told by some folks that the car I SHOULD be doing this on is the TT.
I'd love to hear from any of you who have gone that route on a 225 Coupe or Roadster (i.e. chip/re-program only) and how much of a difference it makes. And any downsides you've had.
Also, what brand (GIAC, APR etc.) seems to be the favourite?
Finally, I've seen some posts from some other Toronto folks -- hi to you guys. I'm in the Beaches. For now, I still have the USA bumpers on, since I just moved from Calif.
