Needless to say, the engine will get some post-exhaust cycle help to hit the 350HP level. This "help" will make the car more receptive to chip and induction system tweaks than say, the 302HP V6 version.

There is a possibility the car will feature a hyphenated model name name rather than a letter suffix/prefix.

Seems there is a lot of powerplants in the works for just one car. I would assume a few would replace others:

We've talked about:
200hp FWD 4cyl.
230hp Quattro 4cyl.
250hp Quattro 6cyl.
260hp Quattro 4cyl.
302hp Quattro 6cyl.
350hp Quattro 5cyl.

and this doesn't even include the diesel side of things!

make the 302 the TTS and the 350 the TTR.

Yes I'm most likely wrong... but you shouldn't be so sure of yourself as previous Audi model designation would make a R-TT and a S-TT more likely than not!

Things are simpler that way anyway.

I've read lots of rumors on the upcoming engines e.g. for the TT quattro Sport, maybe you could give me some details about that as you're probably closer to the source as anyone else.
