So I was at the Audi Forum store in the Munich airport last week and got to sit in a silver 3.2 Quattro MKII TT Coupe. It was pretty cool. Got a video of the spoiler popping up that I will post here soon. Anyway.....

After talking with the Audi rep for a while, he mentioned that the previous week there was a US-spec MKII TT with body kit in their showroom. He said it was so secret, that they only had it in for private viewing and the window shades were closed so nobody could see it.

Fortunately for me, he had some pics on his computer and was willing to show me.

Here are the main items:
- It was a white TT with black accents
- All black parts were glossy, including the front grill, lower grills and rear valence.
- The front grill had stainless accents on the edge. This includes the lower grill foglight section also.
- The pop-up spoiler was disabled and a large black wing was installed.
- The rear clip had an enlarged section to fit the US style license plate.
- There was nothing on the front end for a front licence plate.
- There was some form of front splitter on the corners, similar to the new RS4.
- There were wider side skirts.
- I noticed it had the flat bottom steering wheel, so maybe the US gets this wheel.

The Audi rep didn't have much to say about this car. Nothing about enhanced performance or actual availability of this kit. Maybe it's the new Votex setup?

Sorry I couldn't get the pics to show you, so I have described it as best as I can. Maybe it will be shown at some upcoming US car shows.

2953 - Do you know anything about this car?
