Last August I had the privilege of having the mighty Sebring convertible as a rental car for a weekend. Truly an amazing car. Lower the roof and the handling characteristics of the car changes dramatically from the usually land yacht plow and roll to the "No, I'm not going to respond to any steering wheel movement." This car loses any sense of chassis ridgity it may have entertained once the top is dropped. Wow! I did not realize that U.S. cars were that bad until I drove a V6 Mustang. That car, even the newer version, is simply pitiful. Who's first to B/K-Ford or GM?
