Ride on 18" is harsher than ride on 17".
Ride on 19" is harsher than ride on 18".

Do a search on MK1 site. There was a fellow who was selling 19" due to pothole and tire damage. He was looking to go back to 18" for his TT.

Hartmann RS4 Replicas are not forged. They are cast.

OEM RS4 rims for TT are cast alloy too.

i would definitely go for the 19's since they make the car look awesome. as long as you don't drive like an ass you should be fine with potholes or bending rims... just use caution. i am running KW coilovers with a full KMAC... i would recommend this setup to anyone- it's amazing! i also use 15 front and 25 rear spacers. go for it!
