I'm on the fence. Think I'd rather move into something like the new M3

Especially when it's time to pay the monthly gas card bill.

what a shame. unless DSG is your lowest common denominator, of course. in which case you'd have an R8 a year later je pense.

... company car (the 3.2L TTc). I was gonna go for an RS4 but after driving them on three of my last four trips over the pond, I realized that me in an RS4 is a combination that will result in the official shredding and subsequent and burning my license within a half a year. No, make that ninety days. I've also been a little concerned that the RS4's prodigious thirst for 94 octane will have my boss after my neck before the license goes up in smoke. The second generation TT is a better option for my company car right now. Plus the end of the TT's lease will dovetail quite nicely with the delivery timing of an Audi exclusive TT.

As far as an R8 is concerned, that's gonna be MY car. No company leasing. I will OWN it not the firm. The two issues regarding an R8 center around whether it...

A. replaces the RS6 or the BMW, and...

B. do I really want an '08 or would it be better to wait and get a 2009. FYI, this has nothing to do with a transmission choice.

Want them to shake out the bugs and want to see if there will be an RSTT.
