I coached the host of the show, Dave Mordal as he used my RS4 in an attempt at the 130 MPH Club, which is a 1 mile long course from a standing start. I haven't seen it, but the person from Discovery told me today that the episode came out really good. They are actually swapping it around so the Bonneville segment gets the most time in the episode.

how come your rs4 only made 130.1?

and at last year's event, it only took one run above 130, to make the club?

He did make two runs, and his first run was 134 mph - not sure why they didn't show that one...

If you watch closely you'll notice that some of the footage was from the day before when the camera guy and I drove back and forth out past the pits. Watch for floating mountain in the shots...

They had a lot of footage they didn't use. I think it came out pretty good overall.
