Well I just got done looking at it. Just one word to say, WOW! (not a good one).
Just some details about it:
1989 Audio 90 Quattro
Zermatt Silver w/ Graphite Leather
2.3L I5 w/ 5-Speed Manual
Rear OEM Spoiler
Now the issues, best described as the NEED list:
-Looks like the car rear ended someone else, so new bumper, lights, turn signals, bumper, paint, and headlight washers
-Need ALL new suspension, ALL of the suspension components needed to be replaced
-New Tires, they were bald
-ALL new COMPLETE exhaust system
-Front right fender was a cheap fix, not OEM and not painted
-Doors wouldn't open without force
-Not of the door latches locked properly
-Lots of trim was missing
-Needed new front seats
-Needed new carpet, current carpet was disgusting
-Probably needed a new engine, the engine switch was missing so I really couldn't tell you
-Lots-o-wires hanging under dash
-Shifted pretty decently for its horrible condition (still would want to replace the tranny)
-The driver seat was just THERE. It was not on track and would not stay in place. It was like driving in a rocking chair.
-Everytime you would shift the seat would go back further...
The person selling it was out of high school or first year at college (guessing high school)
There is no way it would have passed SAFETY or EMISSIONS.
Seriously was worth no more than $100 and even that is a good deal. Offered to take it off of his hands, then $100. Wasn't too interested, then again his opening phrase after I told him to tell me about it was "It is a piecer". Not to sure if it even has a clean title.
Just an FYI for the forum.
