My brother-in-law and his bride chose to get married on a precipice at the San Rafael Swell on Saturday so my wife and I packed up the Avant and hit the road early AM. There was about 12-15 miles of dirt road to reach the sight. I turned off the ESP a couple of times and had some fun fish tailing around a few corners in the dirt. My wife was saying: "What are you doing? Your 5 month old son is in this car." My response: having a little fun with my car and some HP... The snow tires provided a great ride and traction(with the ESP on). I spotted this sun dog(ring around the sun caused by water vapor in the air) as we pulled into the campsite.

I used my sunglasses as a filter over the camera lens to get the exposure toned down.

My wife and I...

It was an absolutely beautiful day for the wedding. The weather and temperature were perfect. I was skiing fresh lines at Snowbird on Thursday and Friday and at the Swell on Saturday, only in Utah... On the drive back I snapped this photo of the new windmills at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon.

Anyone else see these? They are massive. I understand they will not be spinning and producing power until late summer.

i saw those turbines when i was in SLC last... they had about 5% of them up. GLAD 2 c that at least SOMEplace is using renewable energy... instead of pissing-away our non-renewable resources! Way to go Utah!

Glad ur trip was fun and safe!

Bike season here... still snow everywhere, but it's time to RIDE!!!

tram at 9:50am. On my second tram ride up the P-gulch side just opened and I did upper Silver Fox, Anderson's, and then lower Silver Fox gully is where I had the best face shots.

knew how hard the 19" are to find at low price. I figured I could always put them on my next Audi if I did not put them on the S6.
