Is this a powder coating issue? I want to change them, anyone have any ideas on a local shop?

HPC was local, & used to do a lot of hotrod applications. I had some rims done at a place called Steel Coatings a few years back. Think they're still around. I'm sure Mark, Hans, or Nord will chime in & help you out. You might be able to just paint them as well.

Alcons, StopTechs, etc.

Red and Black don't seem to discolor like that.

and thinking of just getting them painted, as the amount of work to get them totally broken down and then reassembled sounds too expensive/daunting.

job on his car. Can't remember specifically what paint he used.

my HP2's down on my S4, degreased the hell out of them, taped em up real good. Like 7 coats of paint, and 3 gloss coats. They shined great, never had any chipping or discoloration for the 4 years I had it.
