who's coming?

hey now, time is running short to sign up for the Audi Driving School at Miller Motorsports Park, in utah. it's coming up fast, April 12 & 13.

this event is typically filled up with folks from all over the rocky mountain region, and the western u.s., .... colorado, utah, arizona, nevada, wyoming, idaho, ... all are a one day's drive away from home, to one of the nicest tracks in north america, and a great opportunity to get on track with a great group of people. this is an excellent experience for folks who have never been on a track before, and want a chance at some quality one on one instruction in driving at speed, in a safe environment, ...
.... as well as those who've done a lot of laps, and like to run with the advanced run group.

Sounds like there's a bit of a challenge getting enough registrations. Last I heard we needed 50 and were at about half that...

I've got two tire setups, which would you use for the track:
18 X 8.5 Flik Arctics (23lbs/ea) w/
235/40/18 Falken ZIEX ZX912's (ultra high performance all seasons that I have heard have really good dry grip (and I experienced that they don't have the best snow grip ha))

or

19 X 8.5 BBS LM's (24.75lbs/ea) w/
235/35/19 Kumho Ecsta MX's (heard real good things about this summer tire too)

Summers in the summer, snows in the winter. The MX is going to be my next summer tire.

they need a minimum number of participants, and it seems like it's gonna be close.

and definitely go with the mx's.

for folks who only have all seasons, they <i>will work</i>.
but they'll be a bit frustrating for most people, because your car and your brakes would be able to handle so very much more, than the "no-seasons" can.

for those who are intending to come, but are putting off registering until the last minute, ... please get registered asap.
we don't want to lose out on a quality event like this one always is, for lack of enthusiasm.
