I'd love to try, but with an open vehicle I'm not sure whether Audi's automatic pop-up roll protection would qualify under the rules.

I'm pretty sure that the Audi pop-up roll protection would not pass. The rules state that open cars need a 4 point roll cage installed.

back in '01. '97 Diablo VT Roadster with carbon fiber top installed and locked down. Took some shmoozing, but got it through eventually.

The Audi convertible pop-up roll bars don't count for that, IIRC.

The TT was ok, though (but not so fast). Grin.

well, until I got a couple of "friends" over to tech.

sigh....I should have paid the bucks to re-register the Lambo in my name after Heiner got in. Oh well. Maybe when Laura and I commit to coming out for an event, we can run your car (whatever it may be), right? :-D

We're running the Audi next week in 2 classes - I'm trying for the 150 Club and Carol will be running the 130 Club.
