Kinda lame if that is the only ticket option - seems pretty steep for most people. Yeah, there is alot of frills attached to it and it looks like a great experience but damn pricey.

No way I'm putting out $325. I can think of better frivilous spending.

after working AMA Superbikes (which was a total blast being on track) and then finding out the cost of the Audi Club event (which I'm sure the extras are very nice), totally sealed the deal on me working on track for ALMS. Also be working the friday practice/qualifying, but not the Thursday stuff though.

Corral packages were available through IMSA/Miller but weren't arranged in time for Audi to have a Corral, so only the Audi Hospitality tickets are being offered through Audi of America, which gives you VIP parking but no Audi corral parking.

Looks like only the Porsche Club and Corvette Club took advantage of the Corral bundles that were available ($75 and $125) which would have been a good price point for many.

Are you guys thinking of buying GA tickets or reserved seating?

you will be staring right into the setting sun if you get grandstand B.

I believe A is the one at the end of the front straight and C is the one by the attitudes/tooele turn. But I could have them mixed up.

My opinion is that C is better, more passing action visible from that grandstand. But A will have higher speeds.

well assuming I don't get a free one like I should be for July 4th due to my volunteering.

Honestly, had it been like $150, I'd have more strongly considered the tickets. But $325 is just too much for me. My finances are just not in good enough order to blow that kind of money on it.

When I went to the ALMS race in Vegas a couple of years ago they gave you an Audi baseball cap in addition to your ticket if you had the Hospitality ticket. Oh, and some food/water.

You can buy a few baseball caps and a lot of food at the track for $325...

Someone was selling their tickets to the Canadian F-1 race. Pretty much the same deal as the $325 ALMS tickets, but access to the Ferrari hospitality area, plus hotel and shuttle service around the track: ~$19,000 canadian for four tickets!

it just is kinda expensive for most of the local Audi enthusiasts and there was a lot of talk of what was going to happen for the race for the local Audi group & that didn't seem to happen.

without many volunteers and not the high membership of, say, the BMWCCA or the PCA. Sometimes if you want something to happen you have to make it happen yourself. I hope you can still go and that all the Audiphiles get their Audi fix, one way or another.

I just won't be in the Audi Club area during the race. With the ability to work on track instead, just can't really pass that up (or afford the Audi tickets).
