My non-Bose system has 9 (versus 12 Bose) active speakers, and a 5 (versus 8 channel for the Bose system) DSP amplifier. The base system also does not have the AudioPilot in-cabin sound adjustment microphone feature or the 6 CD changer in the glove box.
Where is this microphone located and can I add the CD changer to the glove box? There seem to be three compartments in the glove box and one looks like it is designed for some kind of audio unit.
My other concern is that the 3G iPhone was not supported in the 2008 TTs but I am not sure if this has anything to do with the head unit.
I am wondering if this is going to be more trouble than it is worth and am also worried this mod could void the warranty in any way of any of the other electrical systems?
