Two quick questions:

1. Seems like the "euro flashed" units are around $1000, while the US versions are about $1,200. Does that sound right?

2. Anybody here install a unit in a B6 avant and connect to the sharkfin in the back? How much of a PITA is it?

Saw it when I replaced the SAT receiver. It also has an extension running to the passenger seat where the OnStar interface was once installed. To get to the wire you will likely need to remove the trim though.

I'm fairly comfortable working on car's electrcial systems, but have learned it's always the trim pieces that kill you and take all the time....
