I have an IHF 1000, but my return it to get the parrot 3000. In any event, where have people put the controller. I don't want to stick it in a front-and-center position on the dash. I like the clean asthetics of the Audi, and don't want to mess it up. However I do still need it in a place that is convienient to get to.
2nd Q: do people like the Moto or Parrot kits better?
I have a 2001 B5 A4, btw.

...just on the lower right corner of the instrument cluster, above and to left of the radio headunit. It was a good location for me, the upper right spoke of the 4-spoke stering wheel blocked the blue light, and it was just a few inches away from my fingertips.

The only problem with it there is that occasionally when useing the brake it is easy to tap the buttons.

Here's where I mounted my Parrot controller, I ordered a blank panel from dealer and recessed controller into panel 1/2 of the way so it didn't look 'tacked on'.
Eventually I bought an Steering Wheel adapter for the Parrot and interior is 100% oem looking and the steering wheel buttons control bluetooth, audio and now ipod as well.
Here's the post for the steering wheel install with all necessary info...

http://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/57043.phtml</a

I have a Parrot 3000 evolution in my BMW Z4 in the lower center console close to the top up/down botton. It works great , and I really like the voice caller ID (your voice tag when a contact from your parrot phonebook calls you, if your phone does not support ringtone through bluetooth like my ATT 8525 with WM 6)
