Has anybody tried to pair one of these PDA/phones in an audi?. If paired, was it functional 100% with the audi bluetooth (phonebook transfer, last/missed calls, wireless provider, signal bars)?.
Thank you

I certiainly hope so. I have an iMate SP3 and am in the process of retro-fitting Bluetooth in my A6 Avant. I should have it complete within a couple of weeks. Will post the results.

I have tried multiple HTC/i-mate/Qtek microsoft smartphones in both MMI and RNS-E cars. It all depends on the firmware of the phone. I have found them all to provide basic call handling functions, but some will integrate better (phone book, missed calls, signal strength, etc) than others. I also used the Jetwaremobile.com software addin for the phones that universally helped integration. For $15 it is worth it.

Last and missed calls shows in the list, but the list does not seems to survive switching off the ignition. Signal bars shows, but I could not do an import. The menu option for this does not show. I think import is only available if you connect a phone via the arm-rest cradle (which I don't have, and I doubt you can get to a USB type PDA/SmartPhone.)

I tried this software and it's great, except still no phonebook info?
