hi all. i just got a b7 avant with bluetooth yesterday and have been able to pair my treo 650 with my car, as well as see that most data synced from the phone to the mmi (e.g. missed calls, recent calls, etc.). however, my phone book is not getting added to the car's phone book, and thus i have none of my cell phone numbers in the car. is there a reason for this, or does it just take a long time to sync?

if it matter, i have an older version of my cell phone firmware- 01.28- and software- 1.13-ROW.

IIRC no numbers from the contacts will show up, just those from the quick dial.

is that so i can manually enter like 200 phone numbers? i can't believe this would be the case since palm announced how they have full integration on the audi the way they did.

the RNS-E does not download the contacts, it just displays some of the data stored in the mobile device. The MMI downloads the contacts IIRC and its a complete different environment, nothing in comming but the similar looking user interface.

MMI is the only system that can import. Only found in C6 A6/S6 and D3 A8/S8.
