2006 B7 with tech pkg, sunroof and premium....no NAV ...using Bluetooth with my Motorola E815...when the car is in Park....cannot use bluetooth? can't scroll through phone list etc...just have the annoying "step on the parking brake" text in the display on the instrument panel..what am I missing? Ya gotta be able to make calls while in park using the hands free stuff and the steering wheel controls right? I have to be missing something simple?

I don't know how it works without the Navi but if you press the reset button on the wiper stalk the message should disappear and whatever other message is usually there should show up.

Thanks! tested this morning here's what I found:

1. Start car, let everything power up, hit reset button..foot on brake messge goes away....have full control and can switch modes, stereo to phone etc ( I do not have NAV)

2. After driving to work...shift to park...seemed to work fine in park

the 2006 B7 technology package. I believe the build date on my car was sometime in December so its whatever they were putting in at that point.

and see what the part number is? I have an E815 and I know ESFO's blue tooth box and my phone don't get along.
