Hi Guys
I've an Audi A6 (Late 2000 model) that has the CD based Navigation Plus head-unit (with screen) that I believe was factory fitted from new.
I've been trying to find an updated map CD for the UK as my current one is dated 2001.
Looking at the TeleAtlas web site it appears that I need the following - http://www.navshop.com/directsales/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=3_302_330_439_104&products_ id=743
I've been led to believe that this is a non-DX system and recently purchased a 2004/05 non-DX CD from Ebay.
When I tried to load the CD the Nav+ won't recognise the disk, but more worrying is that the message on the screen says that my unit is a "Travel Pilot DX" system.
Please can anyone advise what the difference is between a DX and non-DX system. I thought the DX systems came out in 2001.
Many thanks
