Hi Guys

I've an Audi A6 (Late 2000 model) that has the CD based Navigation Plus head-unit (with screen) that I believe was factory fitted from new.
I've been trying to find an updated map CD for the UK as my current one is dated 2001.

Looking at the TeleAtlas web site it appears that I need the following - http://www.navshop.com/directsales/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=3_302_330_439_104&products_ id=743

I've been led to believe that this is a non-DX system and recently purchased a 2004/05 non-DX CD from Ebay.
When I tried to load the CD the Nav+ won't recognise the disk, but more worrying is that the message on the screen says that my unit is a "Travel Pilot DX" system.

Please can anyone advise what the difference is between a DX and non-DX system. I thought the DX systems came out in 2001.
Many thanks

I updated the firmware a few months back in order to get the compass, and I'm pretty sure I used the Nav-D update.....I think!

... cannot display navigation information on the display on the dash. My display shows directions on the TFT screen and on the dash interface. Does this mean that my Nav unit is NOT a "C"?

Sorry if the answers staring me in the face!
