Ok ok - so maybe I'm living in the past with a factory CD Nav and no Map display... but hey - it gets me where I need to go.
However... an interesting quandry came about the other day when I installed my CK3100 kit from parrot.
While the kit works great and the phone works great with it... I cannot have my cake and eat it too!
If I hook up the Parrot to the +,-,mute connections on the back of my Bose S-II (through the brown and green parrot line out & mute wires) head unit, I can hear the caller throught he speakers, the radio mutes etc.
As soon as the Navi is hooked up as well - i.e. on the Navi +,-,F pins, the audio for the phone does not come through....
So why is it that the factory nav conflicts with the phone and why must I choose one or the other.
For now I'm using an amplified speaker for the phone, but would love to figure out a way to have my cake... and eat it too.
