Below are the very best new TT spy photos yet courtesy GermanCarFans.com. As you can see, the reports that both a coupe and roadster version being available at launch are correct.

Of course, the single frame grill and other updated design features are cleverly disguised to appear like the current TT.

Also, the Shooting Break concept can now be confirmed as simply a heavily modified new TT.

Reasons I think these are fake:

1. The outline of the cars, especially around the roof and hood, are jagged/pixilated.

2. There is a lot of blurring on the edges of the tires.

3. In addition, look at the poorly created tailpipes in these rear "spy photos." They are 2 dimensional!

4. The window tinting is excessive... very blue; I've never seen an Audi with tinting like this from the factory.

5. In the fifth and eleventh photos, the perspective is way off. I don't you be able to see this much of the front and rear of the car from a side profile.

... there have been discussions at the TT forum where I gave a lengthy explanation as to why they are real.

In short, there is no way anyone would invest so much world class 3D/2D talent, money, and time to create such a large amount of photoreal CGI spy shots.

With all due respect, all your points are simply wrong. For example, the perspective issue. Yes, we do see quite a bit of the front even though the car is angled to show the back. This is because of the new TT's long overhangs. A true side profile of the front would reveal even more of the front, and actually show much of the left side of the new grill.

Also, the tailpipes are perfectly normal. You are probably confusing the snow stuck on the rear of the cars with the exhaust that is showing up behind the cars, thereby making the tailpipes look pasted on after-the-fact.

I'm a visual effects professional with 15 years of experience. These picture are very real indeed.
