if there was eye contact.. Even with pets, eye contact is key in portraits.. that's what makes the 3rd image so compelling.

I agree eye contact is important but it's hard keeping a cat's attention long enough to get a nice face shot. This one isn't too bad but isn't quite as crisp as the other photo.

She's about 3 now. We got her from a local Border Collie rescue.
