#5 is my personal favorite as everything from DOF to lighting to angle worked out well IMO.

the light is too harsh. Light source needs to be larger and more diffused. The white background helps add some fill, but not nearly enough. #5 is warmer than the rest. It's a good start.

I would also stop down and accentuate "Nikon" with light rather than shallow DOF

Try to find the lines of the camera that you like and try to "separate" them with light. If you are using continuous light source, squinting your eyes helps seeing the effects of lighting better

Oh, and clean the camera! :)
Canned air, and maybe a damp q-tip for hard to reach places

some guys go way overboard with lighting..

horrible ;) but will try to do a better job when taking shots of the 55-200 &amp; 18-200 lenses I'm going to sell next.
