this new 6x line of tripods is quite an improvement over the old 13xx line.
Locks are finally comfortable to operate, that stupid air-cushioning that made legs impossible to extend quickly is now gone.
And, of course, ALR (anti-leg-rotation) is great - about time Gitzo implemented something that others had for years now.
It's also lighter and sturdier than its 1348 predecessor.
Overall pretty happy. It's gonna replace my Velbon NeoCarmagne 740, which is a bit stiffer, but slightly heavier and has a center column, which I never use and don't really like...
