I have a few pictures of the Great Blue Heron in a weird position, trying to cool off I guess - looks like he's meditating :)

The guy in the white t-shirt has Canon 400 f/5.6 - looks tiny next to the 600s

had to do pull over on the way to a park with the kids, was greeted by this:

The bird then put on quite a show, pretending to be injured

That first one's pretty sweet, too.

with my tiny 70-200 trying to play with the big boys.

Especially the Nikon 600 with its double hood, which makes the front even wider
