Went to see the annual Helsinki Samba Carnival. Unfortunately, thanks to great weather, so did about 50 000 other people. I swear everybody had a camera and many guys had brought their biggest guns. My 70-200 was nothing... It was pretty difficult to get good shots in the crowd but here's a couple of pics I managed to take. All taken with the 70-200/2.8

It's amazing how much effort people put into making these costumes.

great exposure, nice colors, and i like the shallow DOF.

The place was so incredibly crowded that I had to shoot at close to max aperture to avoid any unwanted faces/arms/legs in the pics.

It's especially annoying when you see a great photo opportunity, prepare to take the pic... and then someone blocks the way and takes a crappy shot with a cheap P&amp;S :)
